PERSONALITY TRAITS
Scholarly, scientific approach to the world. Deeply perceptive; spends a great deal of time observing people, places, natural phenomena. Slow to trust. Finds certain normal mortal behaviours confusing, sometimes even unsettling. Cautious, mentally and physically. Uncertain of its place in the world.
MANNERISMS AND APPEARANCE
Of a similar size and shape to a human male, Mnemo appears to be entirely made of some sort of translucent crystalline substance. At rest, its body is a smoky grey-blue with darker whorls running through it, reminiscent of a bluish marble. Upon intense activity, parts of it fluoresce and the marble-like colours often shift to shades of different precious minerals, such as sapphire and amethyst. It possesses no visible mouth or ears.

COMPANIONS AND ALLIES
At the very end of the age of the eladrin's dominance, one arcane savant was completing her plans for a great summoning. This mage knew of the danger she was soon to face at the hands of the martial and primal powers that were rebelling against the old arcane order, but she ignored her impending doom, so obsessed was she with completing her final, most magnificent work.

Finally, the mage was ready. She stepped onto the dais, inside the ever so carefully scrawled runic summoning circle. Arcane focus after arcane focus lit up around her, the legacy of a lifetime of working powerful magics. Slowly drawing power, she channelled until she thought she would collapse from exhaustion, her mind and her sight narrowing down to focus on only the orb sitting before her. A breath, two, and the summoning finally began. No, not just a summoning, she thought with pride. A creation! Something new would be born from the eternal, not quite like what had come before. As she laughed at her own brilliance, the orb smoked and hissed, a word being slowly singed into its surface by the arcane power flowing around it.

Later, after the laboratory had been raided, looted and wrecked, after the mage had been dragged away by the formerly oppressed revolutionaries, something awoke there. A quiet, confused intellect looked upon the ruins of its assumed birthplace, and found itself at a loss. What was it? Who was it? Where was it? Worst of all, why was it? Finding no answers in the mage's destroyed home, the lone crystalline creature lifted the orb at the centre of the room, looking at the shapes of the letters burned into its surface. "MNEMO," they read.
SESSION AND CAMPAIGN NOTES
Mnemo isn't really a standard shardmind, I don't even know if daniant wishes for standard shardminds to exist in this world. It doesn't know what it is, having been summoned/created/dragged into this reality by a rogue mage at the end of the arcane age. For the last 50 or so years it's been wandering the world, learning all it can and looking for answers. Despite the fact that it doesn't use any arcane magic, it was summoned or created by it, so it has often been viewed with distrust, fear and anger and as such is an outsider. For that reason it wouldn't mind things changing as regards the arcane, but it would settle for simply proving itself and being less of an outcast. Best of all would be to learn more about its origins.
