PERSONALITY TRAITS
He's very pragmatic and tends to think a lot before deciding things. He's careful and rational, but is used to military discipline and being in command, and so does not always deal well with difficult people. His personality is able to win over most people, but indeed when faced with stubborn and/or illogical people, he becomes moody.
MANNERISMS AND APPEARANCE
His silvery hair and grey coming into his beard make him appear somewhat older than he is, but he does not mind. He tends to be very stiff and deliberate in his movement, never to be seen lounging or slumping. He's been known as an occasional beard-stroker when in thought, though sometimes traces his fingers over the black streak in his hair instead.

SESSION AND CAMPAIGN NOTES
Carric came from a noble human family with a proud lineage, situated in Arlys. Most unfortunate, however, that he was born from the Elven mistress of his father.
While his illegitimate and half-caste status was a source of controversy, he still became his father's favoured son, above his two legitimate human brothers and one sister. This was because from a young age he showed great intelligence, and growing up proved to be more talented than any of his siblings.
But he could never be heir to the family titles and fortunes, despite the warm regards his father had for him. His elder brother would inherit first, and his younger brother and sister before him too.
Knowing he could not rely on the family fortune and a luxurious life in future, he enlisted in the military as a teenager and made a career of it. He rose through the ranks and was found to be well suited to command roles and leadership in general.
Carric served in several campaigns to deter and contain the orcs and ogres in Galmania to the south, after they pressed northward many times. He learned Giant speech in order to better understand his enemies there, and remains capable in it still.
Carric has become a commander of good repute on his merits, and remains in service currently.
