PERSONALITY TRAITS
Kikai is generally distrustful of other people, and prefers to not speak with them if possible. However as she has become closer with her current adventuring party, she has become more talkative amongst the group. She is eager to learn new things and picks up on them extremely quickly. She feels the most at home when in a workshop or surrounded by automatons, and can almost always be seen with at least one other machine than Tokegi.
In battle, Kikai prefers to stay back and survey the battlefield, making key decisions and assisting her allies. Using a variety of gadgets and chemicals she is often able to swing the tide of battle in her favor, while soothing the wounds of those on the front lines. With her mount Tokejin, she can even get right up in the thick of things, but often finds herself too frightened to move closer.

MANNERISMS AND APPEARANCE
Kikai is about 3.5 feet tall. She prefers to wear a set of goggles on hear head, which is adorned with a pair of large, fuzzy, and dark blue dog ears. She has a matching dark blue tail, short and fluffy and often concealed inside of her mount. Her hair comes to about halfway down her back, and matches the dark blue of her "accessories." Her weapon of choice is a small, hand-crafted pistol.
Tokegi is an anthropomorphic rabbit construct of roughly the same height as Kikai, excluding his ears, which come up about another six inches above his head. His artificial fur color matches Kikai's. Though he is clearly not built for actual combat, he nonetheless wields a simple short sword and kite shield of appropriate size.
Tokejin is a large construct with the rough appearance of a gorilla, with a seat on top for Kikai to ride in. It is about 6.5 feet tall. It maneuvers much the same way a gorilla might. There are a few splashes of dark blue paint on the robot's front, forming a crude smiling face. It is very heavily armored but does not appear otherwise suited for direct combat.

COMPANIONS AND ALLIES
I even managed to build a small rabbit companion, infused with some sort of magical artifact I found one day that seems to give him the sentience to speak, feel, and think. I wanted to call him Flopsy, but he insisted on Tokegi. I guess it's a better name anyway! He was my only friend in the world for a very long time, until... well, until now, I guess!
Huh? This guy? Oh, yeah. I'm not really fast enough on my own, and I really don't like being so short, so I built myself a mecha I could ride around on! It's really convenient because I can carry a lot of stuff around with me for field repairs and snacks! I named him Tokejin. He can fight too, but mostly I just use him to move around. He isn't as smart as Tokegi is.

SESSION AND CAMPAIGN NOTES
Kikai is an undersized dog girl from the Feserevine, who was left to fend for herself at a very young age inside of a major human city. She is unable to recount the exact circumstances of her coming to live there, but she certainly seems to have rather vivid memories of what she had to do in order to survive in the human world. What follows is a recounting of her early, formative years.
I was surely one of the luckier of the animal-folk to be stranded outside of that place they call the Feserevine. Not only did I manage to escape what is truly a Hell on earth, but I was mostly capable of blending in with a crowd. With the appropriate headwear I could conceal my ears, and with the right kind of pant I could hide my tail. Though this helped a great deal in concealing myself from the general populace, it meant there was virtually no chance of receiving anything resembling an education. One wrong move and my true identity would be discovered, which would surely not be pleasant for me.
I decided that I'd rather risk my life than grow up uneducated like my kin, so I took a gamble and sneaked into one of their grand academies, late at night. There I would spend hours and hours poring over every sort of available tome, any sort of knowledge I could get my hands on, until they morning came and I would have to flee lest my theft be discovered. I was sure that even a normal human girl would be heavily reprimanded for such a thing, let alone a monster like myself.
I would do this night after night, focusing in particular on the study of robotics, clockwerk, engineering, anything mechanical. Sorely I would miss the companionship afforded by a proper enrolment to the academy and thusly deigned to construct my own, robotic friends. I realized that there was no true place for me to stay, and forwardly had to make do with a lonely shack on the city outskirts. None of the proletariat living on the edge of society would question my machinations as they simply could not spare the energy.
I would pilfer tools from the academy's workshop. Not too many, or they'd suspect something. Nothing too big, or it might not get replaced. Didn't want to hurt anybody, never meant for it to be something that would come onto the radar. I never got very good at it anyway, seeing as once I built up a good amount of kit in my workshop I mostly stopped.
Somehow I managed to learn a lot this way.
